While you all got to sleep in and enjoy a snow day, I headed for the airport in Traverse City. My flight was on time but then a plow got stuck in the runway and they had to de-ice our plane again. We left an hour late, but I still made it to Detroit in time to catch my flight to Houston, Texas. Here in Houston I got to meet the other 24 teachers going on the trip. Tomorrow we will visit the United States headquarters for Aramco Oil and have an Arabic language lesson, among other things.

It's nice to know you have made it to Texas. So...you are learning a new language. You will need to come back and teach us. It is exciting that you are having this experience that we get to share in. One thing though...please share the weather report where ever you are...as tyipical it is still very cold and snowy here. Enjoy the adventure! I can hardly wait for you to return and share it with us.

Hi Mrs. Hahn, glad to hear you made it out of MI OK. Some sunny weather might be nice right about now. Will you be semi-fluent in Arabic upon your return? That would be cool. Good luck in your travels to the Middle East. Can't wait to hear more news. Anne
